How to clean cast iron sinks and tubs

Cast iron has a high gloss finish which like vitreous china adds to the beauty of the fixture. Strong abrasive cleaners will scratch and dull the surface. Soft abrasive cleaners may be used to clean these products. Use a soft cloth to wipe the surface dry after every use. Use a soft nylon brush on stubborn stains, which may appear on the bottom of the tub. Do not use and hard bristle brushes, Brillo type products, or steel wool to clean these surfaces. Do not leaves dirty dishes, pots, or any staining material in direct contact with the enamel finish. Long periods of contact may result in staining of the surface.

These instructions are suggestions. It is highly recommended that you follow your manufacturer’s recommendations to ensure proper cleaning of your product.
