Most manufacturers, who make faucets, also offer a line of accessories to match that particular style. By selecting items in the same family/suite, you can keep one consistent style in your bathroom and achieve a custom look since everything will match. This will also insure the finish on each item will be a perfect match.
If you choose to go with accessories that don’t match your faucet, there is nothing wrong with that either. Some faucets don’t have a particular style and will work well with a variety of accessory styles. Ultimately you have to choose what you like and whether or not you want or need everything to match is up to you.
